I Say… To Hell With All That!!!

“Yeah! They will tell you to stop crying, suck it up, be strong and optimistic.”  But I say, to hell with all that!!!  Sometimes you just need a good cry, the kind of cry that leaves your eyes red for days, with bags under your eyes, and makes you gasp for air uncontrollably.  The kind of cry that purges from your spirit centuries of generational curses, ailments, and spiritual debri.  The kind that disinfects your insides from all the putrid lies and deceptions you believed  about others, yourself, your journey, their journey,  your life story, their life story, your future and their future.  Yeah!!! The kind of cry that feels like it will leave you dry, because as you still search for tears they fail you. The kind of cry that makes your skin hurt, gives you goose bumps and makes your heart and soul weep until your are so emotionally exhausted that you fall asleep with salty cheeks.

Cry until your chest relaxes and you can once again breath and feel your lungs expand.  You ask me how I heal? How I’ve survived my many little deaths? And I’m telling you my secret…I’ve CRIED. And once you are done crying get ready to get your own hands dirty and beat those demons until your knuckles bleed from prayer.  And then forgive yourself and hand the remains and skeletons to God, as he will know what to do with them, and rejoice that it is finished.

Cry!!! Surrender!!! Pray!!! Release!!! and Transform!!! It is those who dare to cry whom I respect the most,  not because they are “emotional”, “empathetic”, or “too sensitive”, but because they recognize God’s most precious gift to us for coping with life’s tragedies, our brokenness, and for offering compassionate support to those in pain.  Our Tears are our sacred healers, alchemists, and redeemers.  Celebrate your tears and Thank God for your ability to release that which tests your faith! Let your “Tears” become the liberator and transforming catalyst for yourself and other’s conscious and unconscious pain in your lives;  As their integral purpose are to promote clarity and spiritual vision.  So cry often, surrender to your authentic feelings, be grateful for the process,and thank your tears for giving you the courage to heal and acknowledge that you are indeed alive, living in the moment, present, and  well.  Let your tears be the evidence that it is indeed finished and a transformation has indeed taken place within your soul.  And lastly, let your tears herald an ending of a cycle by Celebrating with peace and joy in your heart  God’s divine perfect order and highest destiny for your lives at work.  So let it out…Look Crazy…Be Emotional…Feel Something….Cry!!! It is another way of being strong, courageous, and wise!!!
